Very first Pokémon ever created

I'm gonna talk about the first Pokemon ever created. You might think it's Pikachu but it's actually Rhydon evolved from Rhyhorn and evolves into Rhyperior a surprising Pokemon to be first. Although Rhydon is not number #001 in the Pokedex it was the first ever Pokemon invented by the creators. It was created in Generation I.

Rhydon was supposed to be the ultimate guardian of Pokémon ancient ruins in the game. If you look closely, Rhydon statues are everywhere in the older Pokémon games. They put the statues all over the game to remind us that it was the first Pokemon ever created.
